Freshman Food & Fellowship
Fact:
We had two more groups of freshman students over for dinner in the last couple weeks. Here is what we learned:
- that they are really fun and funny 🙂
- They come from Korea, Kenya, Australia and America
- Their parents are serving in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania as a pediatrician, ophthalmologist, university professor, CrossFit owner/trainer, and pastor.
Family:
- Praise for the Sonship course that Jonathan & Lilli are taking together. It has been so helpful!
- Everyone made it back from Midterm safe and sound!
- Sophia and Jonathan still battling sickness
- Pray that we as individuals and as a community would put our focus on God and not be so distracted by our circumstances and feelings
- Pray for Hannah and Henrik as they raise support for Henrik’s work with Campus Outreach beginning in the Fall
Hello Leslies! I continue to enjoy reading about your life in Kenya. Lots of alliterations this time. (-: What exciting plans do you have for the summer? I spent this evening at the D’s celebrating Micah’s tenth BD – wow, can you believe that?! Dick M. and a former neighbor lady were also there for supper. Promise Kingdom has just a few more weeks until the summer break. We are currently preparing a medley of songs to sing on the 30th for the Farewell for Jim & Jill. Still miss y’all – when will we see you again? Continued love and prayers ~Beth
