The British Were Here

Here in Kenya we speak English, drive on the left side of the road (so the steering wheel is on the right) and there is Tea Time (or chai) twice a day. The British must have been here!

Sure enough. The British Empire established the East Africa Protectorate in 1895, from 1920 known as the Kenya Colony. Kenya gained it’s independence in 1964 under President Jomo Kenyatta, who served until 1978. He was followed by Daniel arap Moi, who had two children attend RVA, and served until 2002.
